“My name is Brian May and I teach 6th grade at Columbia Elementary, otherwise known as Mr. May. This about my 15th year as a teacher.
I teach these guys skills and objectives for life and it happens to include math and English and reading, social studies, science, it’s all of it.
I really enjoy the things that they bring to class, sometimes the things they share with me… and so it’s easy to come back everyday, because there’s always something new.
What I enjoy the most is probably spending time with them and just getting to know them personally… and just what they do and what they enjoy most from life and what I can do to help them…I just enjoy hanging out with them.”
