“An important goal for me is to make a very happy place for the students to come to every day so that they can learn through smiles and laughter.
We focus a lot on writing, the kids are very expressive at this age and they’re learning the dynamics of writing.
I enjoy my job, I have a lot of fun with the kids and they keep me young, it’s the best feeling when you see the children come on the first day of school and you see the huge growth that they make between being a 2nd grader and almost a 3rd grader.
A positive learning environment is very important, so if I can teach the students through smiles and laughter and fun, then I know I have accomplished a lot for that year.”
