The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking student cadets for an upcoming Corrections Officer CORE academy which is scheduled to start in April. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass an applicant selection process conducted by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office which includes an entry test, physical agility test, oral interview, and personal history statement. The entry test will be offered throughout January at the Kern Regional Training Center. For more information send an email to leutyb@kernsheriff.com.
