“What I love the most about my job is the students, and the challenge that it provides me with daily. To be able to reach out and touch someone and be able to help them.
The advice that I give my students here at Bakersfield Adult School, is to let go of the past. It really gets in the way of them achieving their future goals.
They need all the encouragement they can have, because when they’re going through this situation, it is not easy for them as adults.
What I would like to add to this is just a lot of thanks to the students that I’ve worked with in the past, back in independent studies as well as in basic education.
They’ve all been so wonderful to me. Which made my job so much more enjoyable.
