March 2009: Tom Williams

“Describing myself as a teacher,  I would see myself as tough and  understanding at the same time.

As far as continuing education , students should look at their area of  higher interest and ability, then
develop that.  Whatever they’re good  at, whatever makes them feel  comfortable pursue that.

Parents just need to be involved with their students.  Ask them a lot of questions,  don’t be afraid to be nosey.

Well, students are the ones who really  inspire me, their attitude.

My motto for students is: make wise  choices, based on good values.

My  name is  Tom Williams and I teach at Arvin High School.”
