“I became a teacher, because I love working with children and seeing them succeed.
The advice I would give young teachers is to just show children that you care and put them first. Their education is very important, make it fun. Actively engage students by using technology, pictures, and just fun things that their familiar with.
My advice to young parents is to be involved in their child’s education. Sit down with them, read with them, do homework with them, and communicate with teachers and the school. Just be involved in their child’s education.
I always want my students to know, that I care about them. I am here for them, if they ever need anything. I always want them to know, that what I do as a teacher is for them.
My name is Misty Norman. I teach fourth grade at Panama Elementary and I am the teacher of the month.”
